Wellington, FL(Aug 14, 2014) – Premier Equestrian teamed up with 2012 Olympic rider Adrienne Lyle in 2011, and has enjoyed a successful partnership with the talented rider since. Lyle recently joined Premier Equestrian’s Chris Neihart to discuss her preparations going to the 2014 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games in Normandy, France, her history of showing with her Olympic partner Wizard, competing on the world stage in London, and her aspirations for the future. Lyle received confirmation she made the 2014 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games U.S. Dressage Team.
Lyle’s insight on competing at the international level, and her experience as one of the youngest dressage riders competing at the Olympic level, give her a unique viewpoint on not only the present dressage, but also how the future of the sport will develop. A decorated rider with many wins at the Grand Prix level, Lyle and Wizard, a 15-year-old Oldenburg gelding by Weltmeyer, are now one of the top contenders for the US Dressage Team at the 2014 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games in Normandy. They have been competing in Europe for the past few months, including at the prestigious CHIO Aachen. Lyle and Wizard also put in a number of wins at the 2014 Adequan Global Dressage Festival in Wellington, Florida. Originally from Ketchum, Idaho, Lyle trains with Olympian Debbie MacDonald at Peggy and Parry Thomas’s River Grove Farm.
